WARREN FAHEY AND THE LARRIKINS
The Larrikins were formed in 1969 and over the years the group has had an illustrious cast of members including most of Australia’s leading performers – Declan Affley, Jack Kevin’s, Dave de Hugged, Cathie O’Sullivan, Tony Suttor, Liora Cliff and Bob McInnes – to name only a handful. The group recorded extensively for ABC radio, toured sixteen countries and toured all over Australia.
The intention in establishing the group was to present genuine Australian folk music and stories, especially previously unknown material, in an entertaining and educational fashion.

The Larrikins today consist of Marcus Holden, Clare O’Meara, Gary Steel and myself. Sometimes ‘ring ins’ like Mark Oats and George Washingmachine are roped in to give the group a bigger sound. We are not a full-time group and occasionally come out of ‘moth balls’ to perform at special events.
